Thank you for your purchase.  Either you have bought this board because you love your family and you want to return home to them should something go not to plan in the backcountry or they have purchased it for you because they love you, they know you love the backcountry, and they want you to enjoy yourself and still return home to enjoy your time with them.  Regardless, safety and love for family and friends is at the heart of this product.  Following the Use and Care guidelines below will keep your board in good condition for a long time to come.

  1. Your new board is magnetic, however, always pull off any magnets rather than sliding them which can damage the surface.
  2. Use the included eraser or a dry cloth to remove dry erase markings.
  3. Follow this with a quality whiteboard cleaner or warm water to remove any additional residue. Avoid rubbing alcohol or solvents which will damage the board surface over time.
  4. Repeat this procedure for cleaning until all marker residue has been removed.
  5. Ensure the board is dry before being used again.
  6. Clean whiteboard after each use to help prevent long term degradation of the board.
  7. Use the included dry erase marker, or other quality dry erase marker. Never use permanent marker.
  8. Once more for those in the back: Never use permanent marker.
  9. Enjoy your board, your family and your time in the outdoors..
